About Janice

Janice Milusich is a children's author and a teacher for the visually impaired working with preschool students. Her students and their experiences are often the inspiration for her writing. She graduated from Stony Brook's Children's Literature Fellowship and Renee LaTulippe's Lyrical Lab. Her works for children include the picture book, Off Go Their Engines, Off Go Their Lights, and the chapter book series, Cleo's Big Ideas. Janice has also been published in Spider and Muse magazines. 

 

Janice has an M.S. in Education for the Visually Impaired/Blind from Hunter College.  Janice lives near the beach in Port Jefferson, NY with her family, one lovable pooch, and two particular felines.
